If you are single, you know that "Singleness" can be described in a variety of ways. However, whether single or married, we do have things in common, and some of those common denominators are to honor God, encourage one another, and to live the life Jesus called us too.

Right now you might be asking yourself, "As a single person, how do I do these things?"

Well as the name "Single FOCUS" implies, the spotlight of our singles ministry is to disciple singles in five tangible areas of Christian faith:

  • Faithfulness…trusting that God knows where you are in life and believing He is in total control
  • Obedience…complete surrender to His Holy Word
  • Character…Christlikeness in everyway
  • Unity…coming along side other singles by supporting and encouraging them
  • Service…getting caught up in the Church, the community, and the world

Our ambition is to equip you with the tools necessary to handle the moral and ethical dilemmas that you will be presented with every day. So we endeavor to present a safe and loving atmosphere where you will receive acceptance from your peers for spiritual and personal maturity in the Lord as well as real opportunities for developing lasting relationships.

Based on our commonalities and differences there are many avenues for you to transition in to the singles ministry. Throughout the year group events are scheduled to foster solid relationships on and off the church campus. Things like lunches and dinners that follow our Sunday services, bowling, putt-putt, and hiking and picnicking while enjoying the great outdoors, just to name a few. We also understand the challenges that come with being a single parent, so the vast majority of our events are "kid" friendly.

One of the rock-solid strength of Single FOCUS is its heart to serve. In some form or another, the vast majority of those actively involved in this group are giving something back to the church, community or the world.
