Are you tired of people telling what you're supposed to do or how you're supposed to do things with out you having any say? Well I am. Do you think about what your life is supposed to mean or what you're supposed to do with your life? I do. Have you ever struggled with the daily stress of life and how does it all work together in a healthy balance? I Have. At Ethos we have a very conversational approach to how the truths of the Bible can work in every area of life. No topic is off limits but some topics don't have a perfect solution and at Ethos we try to figure out how to do life somewhere in that atmosphere. So what is Ethos?

"Ethos" is defined as the distinguishing character, moral nature or guiding beliefs of a people or group. At Ethos we embrace the Bible as the wild, uncensored, and passionate account of people experiencing the living God. We will wrestle with the Word. We will get angry at certain thoughts. We will always reconcile to the truth that is Jesus Christ. We do all of this to love, worship and follow the One who gives us everything. As a community we will keep searching the Bible and learning how it applies to our life today. We are a people hungry to know more of God.

We meet on Wednesday nights at 7pm in the Fireside room, yes the name is old school but our topics aren't. We also meet on Sunday mornings @ 9am in room 206 for what we like to call "Sunday Conversations" where we discuss things like the church's view on different social topics and stereotypes. Feel free to contact us with any questions you might have @ ethos@mychurchisamess.com or call us at the church office (210)496-9977
