Troy was born and raised in south Texas and is native to the San Antonio area. Cheryl was born and raised in Canada and made her way to Texas through our hospital system as a Registered nurse. Planning only to stay a few years she met a crazy Texas man who wouldn't let her leave. They were married in June of 1995 and have 3 boys, Jarrett, Jordan and Joshua. Troy is a Certified Minister with the Assemblies of God. His call to Student Ministries is a passion that has kept him in ministry since he and Cheryl were married. As the Young Adult Pastor he looks forward to helping young adults apply truth to their lives and become active members in their community and not only space takers of this thing called life. Together they can't wait to see what new and exciting things God has planned for them and the lives of those who attend ETHOS College and Young Adult Ministry.
After over 35 years of both serving as a pastor and recently as director of Transitional Ministries, it is a privilege for RuthAnn and I to additionally serve in developing this new ministry designed for those over 50 who are experiencing the challenges of life’s second half. ??Our purpose is to minister to the unique needs of these “Second Half-ers” as well as provide opportunity for establishing new friends, plugging in to the church, reaching others and serving with purpose. Many opportunities are available and we urge you to stop by the information center and pick up a copy of our brochure.
It is a privilege to be associated with First Assembly of God Church in San Antonio.
It is our joy to visit the homes and hospital rooms as well as nursing homes and assisted living facilities of those who would like to attend church but are unable.
Our hearts are gladdened by the appreciation of those who are assured that someone cares.
